Board (Council) & Committees

The governing Board of Directors meets four times per year and functions as the policy-making group and board of directors for the College. The Board’s primary role is to ensure that the interests of the public are protected and maintained.

General conduct for the affairs of the Ontario College of Pharmacists is laid out in the College’s By-Law No. 6 with further guidance provided in the Board of Directors Policy Booklet.

College committees support the work of the Board. The committees are made up of elected pharmacy professionals, public members and professional committee appointees..
