Managing Cultural Differences - An Advanced Workshop for Preceptors

- What is culture?
- Communicating with culturally different people
- Hierarchy and its impact on pharmacists
- Giving feedback and receiving feedback from culturally-different people
- Working in multicultural teams
- Helping IPGs integrate into the profession
This new workshop will provide preceptors with insight on the cultural differences that exist between Canadian and International Pharmacy Graduates (IPGs) and help them prepare to face the challenges and reap the opportunities of being preceptors to all students, including IPGs.
