LIGHT-SENSITIVE DRUGS

Pharmacists are reminded of the necessity of dispensing all light-sensitive drugs in light-resistant containers (amber glass or amber plastic) in order to retard photolytic degradation as much as possible. An adequate supply of amber containers should be kept on hand at all times for use when dispensing both solid and liquid light-sensitive drugs.
