Professional Products Area

It is College policy that a professional products area be required in all pharmacies, placing all non-prescription drugs available to the public on a self-selection basis in a clearly defined designated area not extending beyond 10 meters from the dispensary. Council also agreed with a recommendation that all pharmacy premises possess a counselling area where the pharmacist may counsel patients in reasonable acoustical privacy.
