Hospital Practice Assessments Affecting Positive Change

OCP Hospital Practice Assessments

Throughout 2015 the College, in preparation of its impending oversight of hospital pharmacies, has been performing baseline practice assessments in hospitals throughout the province.

In the Summer 2015 issue of Pharmacy Connection, the article, Hospital Pharmacies Benefit From Practice Advisor Visits, features pharmacists' experiences with the new hospital practice assessments. As you’ll read, the pharmacists interviewed say the advisors provided value in highlighting ways to perform better, and also in verifying the effectiveness of current standards.
