Advanced Oncology for Pharmacists is a two‐part program that will help to standardize oncology training and education across Canada. Whether you are an experienced pharmacist in oncology or have just completed the Essentials of Oncology for Pharmacists, you will gain knowledge and skills to enhance your clinical confidence to care for persons living with cancer. The program takes an in-depth approach to delivering safe and high quality care using a mixed approach of online learning and a two-day workshop using patient cases and small group discussions.
A broad range of topics that focus on disease sites, pharmacology, symptom management and controversial topics in both solid and hematologic malignancies were designed to take a comprehensive approach to patient care. The curriculum is taught by expert pharmacists and medical oncologists/hematologists from across Canada.
