Medical directives (OPA)



Medical directives and delegation are a great way to foster interprofessional collaboration and teamwork to facilitate patient care. This session clarifies the principles that need to be met in order for a pharmacist to accept a delegated task. Participants will gain an understanding of how a physician-pharmacist medical directive should be implemented within the regulatory requirements, standards of practice, and competence accountabilities.
