Psychopharmacology for Clinicians - An Introduction

The Psychopharmacology for Clinicians Program is designed for health care practitioners currently working or intending to develop an expertise in the mental health field.
This comprehensive program will briefly review the pathophysiology of common mental health disorders as well as the pharmacology and place in therapy for antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antidepressants and benzodiazepines. This practical program will provide the knowledge and skills to assist you in making confident therapeutic decisions to optimize patient care.
The program will focus on current guidelines and the use of evidence based resources to optimize therapy in complex cases where there are a number of medical issues in addition to the psychiatric disorders. It will also provide updates on new medication and current trends in psychiatry.
