What to do if you are the subject of a complaint

The Ontario College of Pharmacists responds to complaints and reports about pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and registered pharmacy students. Each complaint is impartially investigated by College staff in a confidential manner.

If you are subject of a complaint, please do the following:

  • Respond promptly to all communications from the College, including providing information the College requests, and fully co-operate throughout the investigation
  • Consider obtaining a legal representative to assist you if you wish to do so
  • Refrain from discussing the matter with the complainant after you receive notification that a complaint has been filed against you
