Summary of Allegations

As a result of a referral by the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee, it is alleged that Mr. Ramsammy committed professional misconduct in that he

  • Engaged in the practice of pharmacy and worked in a pharmacy from June through August 2016, in breach of the restrictions on his certificate of registration that he agreed to in his undertaking to the College dated June 1, 2016
  • Failed to advise the pharmacy that his certificate of registration had been restricted such that he was not entitled to engage in the practice of pharmacy or to work in a pharmacy in any capacity whatsoever after June 1, 2016

In particular, it is alleged that he

  • Contravened a term, condition or limitation imposed on his certificate of registration
  • Engaged in conduct or performed an act or acts relevant to the practice of pharmacy that, having regard to all the circumstances, would reasonably be regarded by members of the profession as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional
