In May 2014, College Registrar Marshall Moleschi and Dr. Zubin Austin, Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto, teamed up for an engaging and interactive session – Principles and Personalities: Prescriptions to Patient Care.

The presentation was broadcast live and a recorded version is now available for viewing.

About the Sessions

The sessions focused on re-emphasizing expectations and provided insights and support to enhance members’ understanding and implementation of their professional responsibility in practice. The College shared newly developed Professional Responsibility Principles, which collectively articulate practice expectations for all members regardless of role or practice setting, and describe how College processes are shifting to better support the delivery of patient-focused care.

Dr. Austin shared valuable insights into members’ personality traits, and those of other healthcare practitioners, specifically physicians, and offered tangible tips on how to use this information to build more productive collaborative relationships.
