Summary
The University of Waterloo is pleased to offer a Primary Care Certificate Program in the Management of Oral Anticoagulation Therapy (MOAT) for pharmacists, registered nurses and nurse practitioners. This non-credit program is offered in partnership with Professional Development, the School of Pharmacy and the Centre for Family Medicine Family Health Team This program provides pharmacists, registered nurses and nurse practitioners with the knowledge and skills to effectively and safely manage oral anticoagulation therapy under a medical directive. It’s accredited for a maximum of 25 CEUs (1 CEU/hour) by Continuing Pharmacy Education, College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University (expires February 22, 2023).
