Summary
This course is designed for physicians and other front-line clinicians consists of five self-directed online modules that explore the impact of alcohol problems, ways to better identify problematic alcohol use, and treatments for alcohol use disorder using both medications and psychosocial treatment approaches. This five-week course is designed to help enhance participants’ knowledge and skills to more effectively engage and treat clients with alcohol use problems through various instructional activities, such as case scenarios, interactive review questions, individual activities and end-of-module quizzes.
