March 11 marks a major milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic which has dramatically challenged our health system and profoundly impacted our personal and professional lives. It has been a year since the global pandemic was officially declared, and today we join all of our partners and stakeholders in a National Day of Observance to commemorate the people who have lost their lives and the significant impacts we have all felt due to COVID-19 while paying tribute to all those who continue to dedicate themselves in the fight against COVID.

Please see Prime Minister Trudeau’s statement on the National Day of Observance.

Pharmacy professionals have been at the frontlines providing care to Ontarians throughout the pandemic. The College is grateful to the thousands of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who have supported their communities during this public health crisis and who will continue to play an important role in response to the pandemic over the months to come.
