Earlier in the year, the College undertook an audit of our formal communications to see whether we were meeting our strategic goal of effectively providing registrants, members of the public and other system partners with clear, timely and relevant information.
We invited registrants to participate in a series of focus groups and to complete a written survey to help us identify which communications channels are the most useful, what content is the most relevant and areas we could improve on.
We’ve prepared a report summarizing the key findings, including overall trends and themes and respondents’ preferences on communications topics and channels.
The results have been used to inform changes we’re planning to make going forward. These include a website refresh, a consistent and timely e-Connect schedule, an improved social media strategy, a focus on topics that matter to you, and increased opportunities to engage with our audiences. These changes will be rolled out in the coming months.
If you have any questions about the report, or any feedback about our communications generally, please email communications@ocpinfo.com.
