A research group from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and collaborators are conducting a brief anonymous online survey as part of a research study that will help evaluate the Ontario Narcotics Monitoring System (NMS).

All community pharmacists are encouraged to express their opinions and experiences by completing the survey.

The College receives a number of practice-related questions and recently we've been receiving questions about physician assistants.

A couple of questions we’ve received include:

• I have just received a prescription from a physician's assistant. Is it a legal prescription?
  
  
• Can physician's assistants prescribe narcotics and other controlled substances under legislation?
