Performance & Accountability

As Ontario’s pharmacy regulator with a vision to drive quality and safe pharmacy care and improved patient outcomes, a key priority for us is to consistently measure, report on and improve the impact of College initiatives on our public mandate. As we take a systems approach we know that in order to strengthen our accountability to the public, we must ensure that our work aligns with the priorities of our entire health system.

In line with our organizational values, we are constantly looking at how we can better use data and information to more effectively report on the performance of pharmacy and its impact on patient and health system outcomes but also on our own progress and performance as a regulator. We aim for well-governed data and high-integrity analytics to help guide our decisions.

We are also committed to enhancing transparency and believe that transparency is an essential enabler of public accountability and risk-based regulation.
